This past week has just been crazy so far! Salt Lake County does this thing were they bring around the huge garbage dumpsters for free and people can throw yard crap, furniture, whatever in them and they haul it away. Such a great community clean up tool! Well we had 2 dead trees in our back yard. So, of course we (and by we I mean I, sorry Joel) think, eh, no big deal so Joel and my dad get the chainsaw and go to town! Well four truck loads of tree later and a broken chainsaw.... the trees are gone and our backyard looks wonderful and so big!
Last night we went to a local play called Saturday's Voyeur, put on by the Salt Lake Acting Company. This is a big parody and spoof on Utah politicians, the mormons, and basically anything that happens here. It is HILARIOUS! We have made this a tradition to go every year and each time it gets better!
TONIGHT = UTAH FOOTBALL VS. PITT. Season Opener. Go Utes!
Tomorrow night....Lori Morgan.... I would have no idea who she is but my Grandpa LOVES her. and I mean he loves her. In fact, he "surprised" our family and got us all tickets to go see her with him, in Wendover, Nevada tomorrow night. Now, Wendover is basically three casinos and a concert hall stuck in the middle of nowhere, po-dunk Nevada. So hopefully, even if Lori is not everything my Grandpa thought it would be it will still b quite entertaining. AND later we will be doing some gambling... maybe a little blackjack, texas hold'em and some craps!
And then we celebrate our first anniversary at Stein Eriksen... back where it all began! More to come on that after the weekend!
